The China Torch Program is a guiding plan for the development of China's high-tech industry. It was approved by the Chinese government in August 1988 and implemented by the Ministry of science and Technology (formerly the State Science and Technology Commission). 
       
The selection once again proves the leading position of Central Asia Machinery in the industry, so that enterprises can better play their scientific and technological strength and advantages and explore greater potential, and promote the commercialization of high-tech achievements, industrialization of high-tech commodities and internationalization of high-tech industry.
